Responsibilities:
• Assign all job numbers in shared data base.
• Contact survey companies to verify unit lines for well planning.
• Supply client with well plan and supporting reports for all revisions on jobs.
• Send out Planned vs. Actual (PvA) plots on a daily basis for client monitoring.
• Prepare pre-job package for field personnel containing all offset well surveys and verified
final plan version for the directional driller’s daily reporting and monitoring software
(Winserv).
• Make sure directional drillers are aware of target changes during operations and, update
driller’s Winserv file with the most current plan.
• Stay in contact with client drilling engineers for new information and be accessible to him
at all times.
• Submit End of Well Reports to the customer in a timely manner (within 24 hours of TD
well).
• Provide paperwork and graphics for required state regulatory filing.
• Input initial data, and maintain and monitor client’s real-time monitoring software.
• Generate and distribute all wall plots, including spider plots, for directional jobs.
• Distribute approved plans and pricing to needed employees and clients.
• Perform quality and accuracy checks of the surveys between DD & MWD to make sure
they are consistent.
• File and maintain final job files received from field.
• Prepare BHA spreadsheet (slide) report in Excel on requested jobs.
• Prepare the Driller’s job folder for Houston, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Eagle Ford.
• Monitor potential collision risk when requested by clients till adequate separation.
• Available for MWD operators for any field magnetic verification, etc.
