creating a smooth flat surface when
the floor levels are out of tolerance.

Combining aggregates and
epoxy together!

13. Terrazzo components are carefully
measured and prepared with mixing
equipment. Aggregate includes
crushed marble chips, recycled glass
or other decorative stones.

15. The terrazzo mixture is poured in
place onto the surface and then
spread across the membrane using a
trowel.

17. Once the floor has been layered
with a terrazzo mix, installers will
grind the floor after the terrazzo is
set. The process achieves a smooth

21. Terrazzo's surface is non-porous and
antimicrobial, preventing the
growth of microorganisms. A polish
gives the floor its shine. Sealers are
layered to provide protection to the
floor.
