I came to the States to experiment with exile. I came here to see how it feels to be dual: American & Romanian. When I was a graduate student, Purdue's Comp Lit Department did not have enough courses about art and theater, so I created those as independent studies. When I was researching for my prospectus, there was not a Medical Humanities section. But that did not stop me either. I am stubborn and passionate. I am quiet and loud, in equal amounts.
