HAS YOUR FAITH BEEN TESTED?
The truth is, anyone can have a larger vision and a
stronger faith when things are going well, when their
finances are in order, they have a nice job; the family
is okay; they can pay their bills on time. The real test
of a person’s true faith comes when a person gets
knocked down. The greatest boxer can never hit you
as hard as Life. The question: Can you take life’s
punch? A great person once said, “We are not
responsible for getting knocked down, but we are
responsible for getting up.”
WHAT’S REALLY EATING AT YOU?
You can’t seem to catch a break? Do you feel that
you should be further along in life? Do you want
more money; a better paying job? Are you afraid of
the unknown? WHAT IS IT? What is holding you
back from breaking out and becoming the person
GOD intends for you to become? Stop waiting on the
sideline of life or waiting for the perfect moment to
open up your business; to enroll in school to earn that
degree, to publish your book, etc. Like the Nike
Slogan: JUST DO IT! Stop blaming everyone for
your situation. Life is too short; you are here today,
gone today, so live for today, only.
Faith Test: You want to write a book, but you cannot
get a publisher to publish your work, so what, write
anyway. You want to sing, but you are not good
enough to sing in your church choir, so what, sing
anyway; sing to yourself. Sometimes the only good
things you will hear about yourself, are the good
things you that say to yourself. Stop beating yourself
up everyday because you are not where you want to
be in life. You aren’t the only one going through hard
times. Be grateful that you have water, air, eyes, etc.
Faith Test: If you have experienced a lot of setbacks
and disappointments, begin to listen to your inner
conversations. What negativity are you feeding your
mind? As a man thinketh, so he is, as he continues to
thinketh, so he remains. You become what you think
about all day long. Remember, you have a choice to
be happy or to be sad.
Faith Test: If you want something bad enough, go
out and get it (period). Remember, those who search
the most, find the most. Sylvester Stallone said, It’s
not how hard one gets hit...it is about how hard one
can get hit and keep moving forward. Life will knock
you down and keep you down if you let it; so get up
and don’t ever give up!
Faith Test: Do you honestly believe that the dots
will connect in your life one day? Allow God to
order your steps. Don’t take the elevator because
you will get there too fast. Periodically, God will
stop your steps because, at times, He needs to
assess your progress and make sure you are
leaning on his understanding and not your own
understanding. If we take the elevator, we might
get to the top to fast and won’t be able to handle
the pressure that being at the top requires.
Faith Test: As TD Jakes puts it, the fight that you
are fighting is in your mind, it’s not in your
checkbook; it’s not on your job; it’s not in your
relationship. The fight that you are fighting in you
your mind. The enemy is out to get your mind. He
went on to say: The enemy does not want your car.
In fact, the enemy cannot drive. The enemy is
looking for any entryway into your mind that he
can find that will rob you of God’s blessings for
your life.
Faith Test: The Bible says: be anxious for
nothing. In fact, many of us are not even in
trouble; it is the threat of trouble that sends many
people into depression, causes sickness and
misery. MEDITATE, EXERCISE AND REST.
Faith Test: Do you honestly believe that you
deserve to be successful? If so, speak it, and it
shall be given to you. Know that you have what
Norman Vincent Peale call, “Comeback Power”
You have to make a declaration that you will fight
for your dreams; you will fight for your happiness,
and you will fight for your unfolding potential.
Faith Test: The Bible says: your eyes have not
seen; nor your ears have not heard of the things
that God has in store for you. God has a promise
for you. However, you must stop complaining
about your situation. Today, just thank God and
ask him to order your steps right now. If you know
what you want, then, go out and get it. If you want
to start that new business, take some courses on
running a business. As Les Brown states: The
cemetery is the riches place on the Universe. There
you will find thousands and thousands of dreams
never fulfilled. Thousands and thousands of
businesses never opened; thousands and thousands
of books never written. Many of us will take our
music to the grave and deprive the world of the
gifts God has given us. Don’t deprive the world of
your greatness. Below is a “makeshift” key that’s
buried inside of you. Reach deep into your soul
and find your key and start living. God loves you!
DO YOU NEED A
FAITH LIFT?
 When the messenger of
misery pays you a visit, and
you will get your visit, fight
back. Don’t throw the towel in
and quit. Life throws punches
at us from time to time.
However, winners get back
up, brush off the dust and
keep on pushing until they
reach their goals.
 If you are going through
“hell” don’t stop...keep it
moving, even if you have to
crawl, GET OUT OF HELL.
 Have you ever asked God to
show you what your purpose
is? FYI, God has placed a
“special key” in everyone. If
you spend some time
searching for your key, the
riches of your hearts will be
revealed. You may be
wondering where is this darn
key? Well, God knew we
would be looking everywhere
for this key, and He wanted to
make sure we didn't lose it.
So, He hid “your” key where
only you can find it. The
secret is: The key has been
buried beneath your “soul”
since birth. Unfortunately,
your mother/father/manager
can’t help you with this one.
Tap into the depth of your
soul and you’ll discover your
key. Remember, only you can
access your key. If, by
chance, you stumble across
the wrong key and it does not
open your treasures, all that
means is that you have the
wrong key. KEEP LOOKING
 Remember, Hold to God’s
Unchanging Hand. He will
direct your path. Let the
church say, Amen!!!
