What is called CREATIVE PRATICES?
Any Art Form: may be Music/Dance/Drawing etc. which helps to find world around in an
alternative way
If someone loves dance and music s/he can perform as well
But simple Art practice has some benefit:
o At any time anywhere you can devote time when you feel like
o Only with a set of pencils/pens you can begin
o At any age you can start this creative practice: no age bar
o It requires no skill as such
o Even participants are free to practice it being alone or in group
So we from ( www.mind-eye.in) took decision to start our program like CREATIVE
JOURNEY among the above group of people through ART PRACTICE only.

About the Art/Creative Practice (step- wise with explanation)
Drawing session as you like( offering pencils/colour pencil or pen/brushes and water
colour box): Self portrait Session-------30mins
o It helps to know about the emotional status of participants by analyzing the strokes and
chosen colour applied in the canvas/paper
o Recognition of writing/drawing strokes will help Art Therapist to know individual client
followed by suggestions at individual level.
Drawing for Meditation/Concentration practice: It will help to overcome restlessness,
low mood, and passive mode of living.----------30mins
Drawing for finding alternative ways of living: The concept is very important to lead a life
of fulfillment-if a person is target oriented, s/he should have skill to know as many routes as
available to reach the goal: this is called openness: it enhances to be imaginative, reflective,
abstract, creative; it brings many interests; makes people very liberal; it seeks variety and
change. -----30mins
Snacks Break : 20 min
Admiration Board building: It helps to stay assertive and confident -----45mins
Mindfulness training: Skill development: It wipes out empty feelings and loneliness; it
helps people to be emotionally secured.-----------1hr
This is a general concept; depending on Target people we will change our mode of approach
under same headings.
Infrastructure required:
Hall of capacity at least 50 participants
For children participants on the floor and clipboard/participant
One table per 4- senior participant or adult participants working in the corporate world as they
have stress for their working hr/process/style
Raw materials:
For children every item should be colourful but for adult/senior people we can use recycle
materials (magazines/newspapers/used pages etc.
Colour pencils/pen/brushes/colour palette/water colour/poster colour and water

The environment:
Instructors will deliver lecture of 5-6 lines before commencing each item
For adult and senior people the environment should have pin-drop silent as it is a therapeutic
session-so during the process no conversation between the participants is allowed.
For children the session will be most of the time training like and parents will be advised after the
program in group.
A background music will be required during the session to sooth entire process
Program will be held in a confined area, not in an open field: as that distracts the motivation of
the participants
Giving away the Report card and securing Feedback:

Budget:
1. Costing of materials: that depends on the chosen item and the no. of participants( Rs.20,000/-Rs.
15,000/-approximately)
2. Snacks cost: for 50 participants: Rs 5000/-( including snacks and water bottle @Rs. 100/-)
3. Rent for hall and cost of decoration including total hall arrangement:(( Rs. 20,000/- Rs.15,000/-)
4. The remuneration of Instructors/Art Therapist/Therapist( 6-person): Rs. 2000/-per therapist
5. Small honouronium of Volunteers( 4): Rs.750/-
Regarding Hall, one of our colleagues has Hall of capacity 35 persons at 513B Block-M, New
Alipore , Kolkata, near Surachi Sangha Durgapuja Club.
The target of the program:
To keep participants always motivated even in enjoying leisure time as pre-plan is an important
step of life
‘Feeling of emptiness’ will be overcome this way
‘Empty nest’ is an obvious happening in every person’s life: so management is necessary and
skill development is a concept that helps anyone to get ready for the next turn of life

‘How to be attentive and concentrated towards priority of life’ should be a habitual practice of
life: this program will be helpful for the child participants to learn it with the help of parents.
