Clinical Fellow, Department of Dentistry
The Hospital of Sick Children, Toronto, Canada Jan 2016- Present
 Selected for one year International funded fellowship, one of its kind in
Pediatric Dentistry, first one in North America and currently in accreditation
by RCDC
 This fellowship is unique amalgamation of a clinical experience,
comprehensive operating room exposure, inhalational and other different
modalities of sedation, emergency hours on call responsibilities and research
component, all in medically complex children population.
 Apart from this, as a fellow, one is part of Cleft care team providing NAM
(Nasoalveloalar- Molding) care to unilateral and bilateral cleft lip and
palate patients in conjunction with plastics and orthodontic team.
 Also works in multidisciplinary team comprising of pediatric cardiology for
complex congenital heart defects, pediatric hematology for complex bleeding
disorders and plastics for Lip & palate repair and jaw fractures.
 One week rotation in Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect (SCAN) program,
focusing on probable abuse and neglect pertinent to dental related causes.
 One year CPI Blue Card holder for non violent crisis prevention for Autistic
Children
