QA MOOC production
• How to secure quality of MOOCs in cross-
sectoral / cross-institutional team
BizMOOC characterics
• Development teams very diverse MOOC knowledge (focus on those
HEIs/companies/countries less involved in MOOCs)
• Different platforms from partners only
• Applying different MOOC types (self-paced, combination c/x-MOOCs)
• Ranging from developing MOOC by (only) re-using existing material to developing
all materials
Pre-production phase
• Invest in knowledge of MOOC development
team
-> production of 14 state-the-art papers
(MOOCBOOK: http://bizmooc.eu/mooc-manual/ )
• Get knowledge about characteristics of
different target group
– 55 interviews with companies
– 55 interviews with HEI not involved in MOOCS
– >1000 completed online survey
Agreement beforehand on priorities of quality
assurance and evaluation procedures

QA MOOC production • How to secure quality of MOOCs in cross- sectoral / cross-institutional team BizMOOC characterics • Development teams very diverse MOOC knowledge (focus on those HEIs/companies/countries less involved in MOOCs) • Different platforms from partners only • Applying different MOOC types (self-paced, combination c/x-MOOCs) • Ranging from developing MOOC by (only) re-using existing material to developing all materials
  • 6. Pre-production phase • Invest in knowledge of MOOC development team -> production of 14 state-the-art papers (MOOCBOOK: http://bizmooc.eu/mooc-manual/ ) • Get knowledge about characteristics of different target group – 55 interviews with companies – 55 interviews with HEI not involved in MOOCS – >1000 completed online survey
  • 7. Agreement beforehand on priorities of quality assurance and evaluation procedures
