Energy and Environment Partnership Programme with the Mekong Region (Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam)

Funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, EEP Mekong has started its second four-year phase in November 2014 and will be running until 2018. Based on lessons learnt so far, the new phase of the programme aims to increase its impact and effectiveness by narrowing its focus on increasing and improving access of rural population to sustainable and affordable energy services and products in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam. The Result-Based Financing Scheme and Human Right-Based Approach are strategically integrated into the Programme and Projects implementation.
