BP 16 - What Have we Learned?
• Too much secrecy is a problem!
• Active portfolio management is needed
• Look at effects beyond current BP
• The EIT likes to review!
• EIT hires its own experts
• Working with Word and Excel is not the way to go!
• Final budget is not revealed until very late (December!)
• EIT expects revisions at short notice…
7. 7
BP 16 - What Have we Learned II?
• External reviewers seen as positive, hearings process less so
• Enforced budget cuts 10% is not something we should put
into routine practice
• Relative weaknesses in project portfolio
• Lack of links to Accelerator and Campus activities
• Knowledge triangle integration
• More like H2020 in some cases
• Business case needs to be sharpened
