Obj.: Support the EOSC implementation leveraging National Initiatives…
Strong emphasis on National Initiatives, perceived as the cornerstone of EOSC
(and its sustainability)
Project’s workplan tackles both organisational and technical issues using a mix of study,
coordination, research and demonstration, training and service activities:
Analyze the state of the art of National Initiatives and computing/data services
Consolidate National Initiatives, Harmonize policies, engage with all EOSC-related stakeholders
Coordinate with other initiatives (especially “sister” projects)
Promote uptake of FAIR practices
Enable access to trans-national services through EOSC portal
9 use cases selected, based on readiness level, trans-national and/or cross-community nature
Further use cases will be collected and supported later on
Validate and operate services in a production environment, propose viable business models

Activity led by University of Vienna (Lisa Hönegger)
Designed by a multi disciplinary team led by experts in social sciences
Opened for early feedback from other projects (coverage of topics, structure, clarity, terminology,
phrasing
Before going live, tested with test subjects using methods of cognitive pre-testing
Different target groups receive different sets of questions
Respondents can be contacted for follow-up questions
