– Additional Work Experience
• Name should be boldface (max 20 pt)
• No street address
• Specify resume intent
• 4 areas covered: Academic degree,
current work experience, targeted
position or industry, and relevant
skills or certifications
• Include only previous 10 yrs
experience
• Use bulleted points (max 4-6)
• Instead of only listing job
tasks/duties, convey your success
and/or results from each job by
including quantitative results

• Licenses/Certificates: Include A&P, CPR, EMT, etc.
• Activities/Involvement: Include memberships in organizations, fraternities,
sororities, and clubs with dates of involvement
• Leadership: List any positions held in the clubs or organizations with dates of
involvement
• Awards: Scholarships, Honors, Recognitions, Awards, and Commendations can be
listed. Include info such as locations and dates when relevant
• Volunteer: List volunteer experiences or other experiences relevant to the
position
• Publications, Research, and Personal Projects can also be included

• Do not forget to proofread

• Do not opt for resume “style”
over “format!” Do not use flashy
