We Marketing, Internet marketing , also referred to as  i-marketing ,  online marketing , or  eMarketing , is the  marketing  of products or services over the  Internet . The Internet has brought many unique benefits to marketing, one of which being lower costs and greater capabilities for the distribution of information and media to a global audience. The interactive nature of Internet marketing, both in terms of providing instant response and eliciting responses, is a unique quality of the medium. Internet marketing is sometimes considered to have a broader scope because it not only refers to digital media such as the Internet, e-mail, and wireless media; however, Internet marketing also includes management of digital customer data and electronic customer relationship management ( ECRM ) systems. Internet marketing ties together creative and technical aspects of the Internet, including design, development, advertising, and sale. Internet marketing also refers to the placement of media along different stages of the  customer engagement  cycle through  search engine marketing  (SEM),  search engine optimization  (SEO),  banner ads  on specific websites,  e-mail marketing , and  Web 2.0  strategies. In 2008  The New York Times  working with  comScore  published an initial estimate to quantify the user data collected by large Internet-based companies. Counting four types of interactions with company websites in addition to the  hits  from advertisements served from advertising networks, the authors found the potential for collecting data upward of 2,500 times on average per user per month. [1]
Social media marketing  is an engagement with online communities to generate exposure, opportunity and sales. The number-one advantage is generating exposure for the business, followed by increasing traffic and building new business partnerships. [1] Common social media marketing tools include Twitter, Blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. In the context of Internet marketing,  social media  refers to a collective group of web properties whose content is primarily published by users, not direct employees of the property (e.g. the vast majority of video on YouTube is published by non-YouTube employees). Social media optimization  (SMO) is a set of methods for generating publicity through social media, online communities and community websites. Social media marketing has two important aspects: (1) Adding links to services such as Digg, Reddit and Del.icio.us so that their pages can be easily 'saved and submitted' to and for these services. (2) Building ways that fans of a brand or company can promote it themselves in multiple online social media venues. Some social media marketers offer to write content (such as  white papers ) that are unique and newsworthy. This content can then be marketed by popularizing it or even by creating a “viral” video on YouTube and other video sites, including getting involved in blogs, forums, and niche communities. Others in the social media world consider this form of social media marketing  Astroturfing  or "fake grass roots".
Social media marketing  is an engagement with online communities to generate exposure, opportunity and sales.  It could help generating exposure for the business, increasing web traffic and building new business partnerships.

  • 11. We Marketing, Internet marketing , also referred to as i-marketing , online marketing , or eMarketing , is the marketing of products or services over the Internet . The Internet has brought many unique benefits to marketing, one of which being lower costs and greater capabilities for the distribution of information and media to a global audience. The interactive nature of Internet marketing, both in terms of providing instant response and eliciting responses, is a unique quality of the medium. Internet marketing is sometimes considered to have a broader scope because it not only refers to digital media such as the Internet, e-mail, and wireless media; however, Internet marketing also includes management of digital customer data and electronic customer relationship management ( ECRM ) systems. Internet marketing ties together creative and technical aspects of the Internet, including design, development, advertising, and sale. Internet marketing also refers to the placement of media along different stages of the customer engagement cycle through search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), banner ads on specific websites, e-mail marketing , and Web 2.0 strategies. In 2008 The New York Times working with comScore published an initial estimate to quantify the user data collected by large Internet-based companies. Counting four types of interactions with company websites in addition to the hits from advertisements served from advertising networks, the authors found the potential for collecting data upward of 2,500 times on average per user per month. [1]
  • 12. Social media marketing is an engagement with online communities to generate exposure, opportunity and sales. The number-one advantage is generating exposure for the business, followed by increasing traffic and building new business partnerships. [1] Common social media marketing tools include Twitter, Blogs, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. In the context of Internet marketing, social media refers to a collective group of web properties whose content is primarily published by users, not direct employees of the property (e.g. the vast majority of video on YouTube is published by non-YouTube employees). Social media optimization (SMO) is a set of methods for generating publicity through social media, online communities and community websites. Social media marketing has two important aspects: (1) Adding links to services such as Digg, Reddit and Del.icio.us so that their pages can be easily 'saved and submitted' to and for these services. (2) Building ways that fans of a brand or company can promote it themselves in multiple online social media venues. Some social media marketers offer to write content (such as white papers ) that are unique and newsworthy. This content can then be marketed by popularizing it or even by creating a “viral” video on YouTube and other video sites, including getting involved in blogs, forums, and niche communities. Others in the social media world consider this form of social media marketing Astroturfing or "fake grass roots".

  1. Thank you! How is everyone doing today? Welcome! I have a lot to share with everyone today so we need to move very quickly, so let’s dive right into the reason you’re all here today. Show of hands, how many of you would like to a more clients? How many of you want to generate more buzz for your business – therefore get more clients? I want you to realize there is a difference between understanding something and knowing something. We all understand what sky diving is, and to HAVE done sky diving is to KNOW what it’s like. So, as I move through the presentation, you might think that you understand a lot of what I’m talking about today, and I’m sure you will understand it. And remember, it’s a whole different thing to KNOW what I’m talking about today. When you KNOW this information, that’s when your life and finances will improve. During the presentation, I know you’ll have questions. What I’d like to ask you to do, if a question comes to mind, instead of raising your hand in the middle of the presentation and interrupting everyone’s train of thought, please just jot it down. It’s a very logical presentation so I will probably cover your questions in the normal order of things.
