The child basically takes keen
interest in learning something new
every day in school, Encourage the
child to learn better. As a Parent
walk with them, Talk with them, be
with them and be for them.
INTRODUCTION
 Today education has
become the basic need like,
food, shelter and clothe.
 Every educated person in
the world commands good
respect.
 Down the ages education
has gone though many
changes in teaching and
learning methods.
INTRODUCTION
 We cannot dream of education of the
past and learning style that we were
taught years back.
 The young generation of children are
blessed with high IQ.
 Thus our education system need to
cater to their needs of learning.
PARENT’S OUTLOOK
 The parents today expect their ward
to do their best in their studies.
 There is more thrust for marks then
values.
 Many parents don't realize that the
education has changed the world
drastically since they were in schools.
 Schools and class sizes used to be
smaller, dropout rates lower, in-school
violence almost unheard of, and
teachers weren't terrified of showing
affection to their students, or of
discussing moral values.
PARENT’S OUTLOOK
 But today it is other way about.
 Teacher need to be extra cautious never hurting the
feeling of the child.
 Today’s generation more sensitive and more
vulnerable to sensitive issues.
 There is ample opportunity for many parents,
teachers, and individuals to choose best of
educational leaning system.
PARENT’S OUTLOOK
 When we look into situation
today many have taken it
upon themselves to create
public and private alternatives
to that system.
 And it is important for parents
to know that they now have
choices.
 I am sure in changing senior
today you need to learn the
science of time and choose
best of learning environment
for your child.
1. DOES YOUR CHILD HATE SCHOOL
 It is very important to
know the interest of the
child.
 If the child hates going to
school something is
probably wrong with the
school.
 Children are natural
learners, and when
they're young they learn
things past which interest
them.
2. HOW DOES WITH PEER GROUP
 Peer group pressure
will be more to the
children when they are
at school.
 But when the child
trying to interact with
older or younger
children?
. HOW DOES WITH PEER GROUP
 If so, your child may
have become more
comfortable to interact
only with peers within
their own age group.
 A very common
practice in most
schools and may find
difficult to move with
rest of the age
groups.
3. TYPE OF CLOTHE WANTS TO WEAR
 If the child likes to wear lots
of designed, labelled,
something unusual, this is a
symptom of an approach that
emphasizes external rather
than internal values.
 Causing children to rely on
shallower means of
comparison and acceptance.
 They may pay less attention
to values and may find hard
to take advice of the elders.
4. CHILD AT HOME AFTER SCHOOL
 The child must be active
even after whole day
being in the school while
a child can have a hard
day in any school.
 Consistent exhaustion
and irritability are sure
signs that their
educational experiences
are not energizing.
 But actually weakening
and try to find alternative
style of learning.
5. OFTEN CHILD WITH COMPLAIN
 It is the clear sign if the child
often not happy and finds hard to
cop up with the day to day
activities of the school and come
home complaining about
conflicts that they've had in
school and
 Unfair situations that they have
been exposed which hurt the
self-esteem and may this mean
that the school does not have a
student based education and it is
more based on their policy and
mark oriented.
6. NOT INTERESTED IN EXTRACURRICULAR
ACTIVITIES
 The child basically takes
keen interest in learning
something new every day
in school.
HAVE KEEN OBSERVATION
 The parents should
have keen
observation if the
child lost interest in
creative expression
through art, music,
and dance.
 Which mean the
child not at all for
learning rather they
need lot of
encouragement and
motivation.
7. HOME WORK
 The child with interest for
learning will be always
found with book, pen or
even reading materials.
 If child stops reading or
writing—or pursuing a
special interest only for
fun.
 Which mean you son
looks for more freedom to
learn things in his space.
8. LEARNING ABILITY:
 One must understand
there is no child
without interest for
learning.
 Each child has a
natural inclination to
direct their own
learning;
 However, an emphasis
on meeting
standardized test
requirements limits the
abilities of teachers to
nurture and encourage
this inclination. The
result can be an
increasing apathy
toward subjects and
learning becomes
easy task.
9. HOME WORK NEVER DONE:
 Often we find children
taking for granted of
doing home work which
at times never does it
on time or incomplete.
 This is a sign that the
homework is not really
meeting his or her
needs.
 Perhaps it's rote
memorization and may
be stifling to their
natural curiosity.
10. DOES YOUR CHILD UPDATES EVENTS IN SCHOOL
 If the child is excited at
the end of the day
about anything that
happened in school
which mean the child
loves the school and
all its activity.
 But if it is other way
about it may be the
school is not that
interesting to the child.
11. MARK ORIENTED LEARNING
 Often schools pay
attention to marks
and merits only in
academic.
 As a result the
attention for over
all personality
development and
self discovery of a
child is being
sidelined.
11. MARK ORIENTED LEARNING
 I believe every parent
must keen in observing
the child behaviour and
get the feedback of the
class teacher and make
needed change in the
leaning style of a child.
 Never be too sentimental
in your traditional ideas
just because you studied
in that you school you
want your ward also to be
studying in the same
school.
 Be open for change
if you feel your child
needs a change of
school be open to
that option so that
the child learns
better.
THANK
YOU

Tips To Parents To Know Your Child

  • 1. The child basically takes keen interest in learning something new every day in school, Encourage the child to learn better. As a Parent walk with them, Talk with them, be with them and be for them.
  • 2. INTRODUCTION  Today education has become the basic need like, food, shelter and clothe.  Every educated person in the world commands good respect.  Down the ages education has gone though many changes in teaching and learning methods.
  • 3. INTRODUCTION  We cannot dream of education of the past and learning style that we were taught years back.  The young generation of children are blessed with high IQ.  Thus our education system need to cater to their needs of learning.
  • 4. PARENT’S OUTLOOK  The parents today expect their ward to do their best in their studies.  There is more thrust for marks then values.  Many parents don't realize that the education has changed the world drastically since they were in schools.  Schools and class sizes used to be smaller, dropout rates lower, in-school violence almost unheard of, and teachers weren't terrified of showing affection to their students, or of discussing moral values.
  • 5. PARENT’S OUTLOOK  But today it is other way about.  Teacher need to be extra cautious never hurting the feeling of the child.  Today’s generation more sensitive and more vulnerable to sensitive issues.  There is ample opportunity for many parents, teachers, and individuals to choose best of educational leaning system.
  • 6. PARENT’S OUTLOOK  When we look into situation today many have taken it upon themselves to create public and private alternatives to that system.  And it is important for parents to know that they now have choices.  I am sure in changing senior today you need to learn the science of time and choose best of learning environment for your child.
  • 7. 1. DOES YOUR CHILD HATE SCHOOL  It is very important to know the interest of the child.  If the child hates going to school something is probably wrong with the school.  Children are natural learners, and when they're young they learn things past which interest them.
  • 8. 2. HOW DOES WITH PEER GROUP  Peer group pressure will be more to the children when they are at school.  But when the child trying to interact with older or younger children?
  • 9. . HOW DOES WITH PEER GROUP  If so, your child may have become more comfortable to interact only with peers within their own age group.  A very common practice in most schools and may find difficult to move with rest of the age groups.
  • 10. 3. TYPE OF CLOTHE WANTS TO WEAR  If the child likes to wear lots of designed, labelled, something unusual, this is a symptom of an approach that emphasizes external rather than internal values.  Causing children to rely on shallower means of comparison and acceptance.  They may pay less attention to values and may find hard to take advice of the elders.
  • 11. 4. CHILD AT HOME AFTER SCHOOL  The child must be active even after whole day being in the school while a child can have a hard day in any school.  Consistent exhaustion and irritability are sure signs that their educational experiences are not energizing.  But actually weakening and try to find alternative style of learning.
  • 12. 5. OFTEN CHILD WITH COMPLAIN  It is the clear sign if the child often not happy and finds hard to cop up with the day to day activities of the school and come home complaining about conflicts that they've had in school and  Unfair situations that they have been exposed which hurt the self-esteem and may this mean that the school does not have a student based education and it is more based on their policy and mark oriented.
  • 13. 6. NOT INTERESTED IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES  The child basically takes keen interest in learning something new every day in school.
  • 14. HAVE KEEN OBSERVATION  The parents should have keen observation if the child lost interest in creative expression through art, music, and dance.  Which mean the child not at all for learning rather they need lot of encouragement and motivation.
  • 15. 7. HOME WORK  The child with interest for learning will be always found with book, pen or even reading materials.  If child stops reading or writing—or pursuing a special interest only for fun.  Which mean you son looks for more freedom to learn things in his space.
  • 16. 8. LEARNING ABILITY:  One must understand there is no child without interest for learning.  Each child has a natural inclination to direct their own learning;
  • 17.  However, an emphasis on meeting standardized test requirements limits the abilities of teachers to nurture and encourage this inclination. The result can be an increasing apathy toward subjects and learning becomes easy task.
  • 18. 9. HOME WORK NEVER DONE:  Often we find children taking for granted of doing home work which at times never does it on time or incomplete.  This is a sign that the homework is not really meeting his or her needs.  Perhaps it's rote memorization and may be stifling to their natural curiosity.
  • 19. 10. DOES YOUR CHILD UPDATES EVENTS IN SCHOOL  If the child is excited at the end of the day about anything that happened in school which mean the child loves the school and all its activity.  But if it is other way about it may be the school is not that interesting to the child.
  • 20. 11. MARK ORIENTED LEARNING  Often schools pay attention to marks and merits only in academic.  As a result the attention for over all personality development and self discovery of a child is being sidelined.
  • 21. 11. MARK ORIENTED LEARNING  I believe every parent must keen in observing the child behaviour and get the feedback of the class teacher and make needed change in the leaning style of a child.  Never be too sentimental in your traditional ideas just because you studied in that you school you want your ward also to be studying in the same school.
  • 22.  Be open for change if you feel your child needs a change of school be open to that option so that the child learns better. THANK YOU
