New applications can be entered directly into the System.
If the company has a separate sales portal such as sales website or external sales system, the new
business can be imported into the System via electronic data interchange.
• Underwriting
All underwriting documents can be uploaded and stored in the System eDocument repository.
• Policy Documents
Once a policy is issued, the system will automatically generate policy documents such as contract,
policy schedule and acceptance letter in PDF format.
The policy documents can be electronically delivered to policyholders by the system via email or
download portal.
A copy of the electronic document will also be permanently stored in the eDocument repository of
the System for record keeping.
Premiumprocessing
• Premium processing methods
The System has two types of premium payment processing modes: online mode and batch mode.
For online mode, cashiers process premium receipts directly from the System user interface.
For batch mode, the System daily batch automatically process payments by requesting funds from
financial institutions via electronic data interchange.
• Supported payment methods
Online mode: cash, cheque, credit card.
Batch mode: pre-authorized deduction from banks, credit card, salary deduction.
• Billing tracking
The System can automatically send emails or generate letters in PDF format for premium
reminders, missing payment notices and lapse notices.
Inquiryandchanges
• Versatile search capability
The search function makes information retrieval easy and improves customer service efficiency.
Users can search information by customer names, phone numbers or policy numbers.
The search dynamically narrow down the results while users are typing the keywords. This helps
users to locate the information faster.
• Administration capability
The System provides functions to satisfy all administration needs required for servicing customers
and policies throughout the entire life of a policy.
Functions include customer profile maintenance, billing and payment processing, policy changes,
policy loan processing, termination, claims, communications with customers, and commission
processing.
eDocument
• System-generated documents
The System generates electronic documents according to the contents and layouts specified by
individual companies.
Such documents can be letters, forms, account statements and management reports.
The generated documents can be in PDF or Excel format.
Once the documents are generated, they will be stored in eDocument repository for download, or
can be emailed to customers or designated staff.
• Uploaded documents
Users can upload documents from external sources to the eDocument repository for record
keeping. Examples: underwriting evidence, claims evidence, written notices from customers.
• eDocument repository
All documents are stored in eDocument repository permanently and available for access by
authorized users.
All document access history are tracked and recorded by the System.
Managementreporting
• Dashboard
Dashboard helps managers to quickly visualize key
business statistics using interactive graphic charts.
• Management Reporting
There are two types of report: online report and batch
report.
Online reports are generated by users from System web
pages on demand using the real-time information.
Batch reports are generated by batch jobs according to
specified schedules. Users can download the reports
from eDocument repository.
All reports are fully customizable to meet individual
companies’ needs.

The System collaborate with external systems by facilitating electronic data interchange. All data
exchange is customized according to specification required by other systems.

• The System is designed for multi-territory, multi-office and multi-user environment.
• It provides four levels of user authority control:
1. user login authorization
2. territory authorization
3. sub-system authorization
4. task authorization.
• A user does not have to be restricted to administrative staff. It can also be a sales
agent, a broker, or a third-part administrator involved in the business process.

If the company has a separate sales portal such as sales website or external sales system, the new business can be imported into the System via electronic data interchange. • Underwriting All underwriting documents can be uploaded and stored in the System eDocument repository. • Policy Documents Once a policy is issued, the system will automatically generate policy documents such as contract, policy schedule and acceptance letter in PDF format. The policy documents can be electronically delivered to policyholders by the system via email or download portal. A copy of the electronic document will also be permanently stored in the eDocument repository of the System for record keeping.

For online mode, cashiers process premium receipts directly from the System user interface. For batch mode, the System daily batch automatically process payments by requesting funds from financial institutions via electronic data interchange. • Supported payment methods Online mode: cash, cheque, credit card. Batch mode: pre-authorized deduction from banks, credit card, salary deduction. • Billing tracking The System can automatically send emails or generate letters in PDF format for premium reminders, missing payment notices and lapse notices.
  • 12. Inquiryandchanges • Versatile search capability The search function makes information retrieval easy and improves customer service efficiency. Users can search information by customer names, phone numbers or policy numbers. The search dynamically narrow down the results while users are typing the keywords. This helps users to locate the information faster. • Administration capability The System provides functions to satisfy all administration needs required for servicing customers and policies throughout the entire life of a policy. Functions include customer profile maintenance, billing and payment processing, policy changes, policy loan processing, termination, claims, communications with customers, and commission processing.
  • 13. eDocument • System-generated documents The System generates electronic documents according to the contents and layouts specified by individual companies. Such documents can be letters, forms, account statements and management reports. The generated documents can be in PDF or Excel format. Once the documents are generated, they will be stored in eDocument repository for download, or can be emailed to customers or designated staff. • Uploaded documents Users can upload documents from external sources to the eDocument repository for record keeping. Examples: underwriting evidence, claims evidence, written notices from customers. • eDocument repository All documents are stored in eDocument repository permanently and available for access by authorized users. All document access history are tracked and recorded by the System.

Managementreporting • Dashboard Dashboard helps managers to quickly visualize key business statistics using interactive graphic charts. • Management Reporting There are two types of report: online report and batch report. Online reports are generated by users from System web pages on demand using the real-time information. Batch reports are generated by batch jobs according to specified schedules.
