I am Sumch Mohammad Tarek, Managing Director of Bdtask Limited.
Thanks to invite me as well as feel honoured to be a part of this extraordinary event.

3. IT Potentiality
I think we everybody believe coming days and years will be dominated by IT sector.
Still nowadays everything is IT IT…
So, who will perform in future to run IT sector ?
Old men like me..?
Or young like you…?
Definitely youngs…they will run our next world…

4. Developed countries population growth is very low even so many counties is
negative,example Japan.(-0.5 from 2010)
That means if they need to adapt with technology,they must hired by outsource.
From where ?????
Must be either Asia or Africa.
Nigeria can be the best alternative for the IT human resources hiring because..
Almost people are English speaking
People are talent ,hard worker

5. Nigerian young people just need…
Proper training, guidelines.

6. Case study of Bangladesh
Bangladesh get independence 1971.
Bangladesh set a goal for vision 2021 at date of 8 Dec 2008 named at Digital
Bangladesh.
First set 05 years plan of 1 Billion(200 million each year) Dollar investment on
(a) Speeding up IT training/skills development.;
(b) Actively attracting international IT companies/investors to establish IT centres (R&D, Service)
(c) Helping Bangladeshi entrepreneurs to start IT companies by providing funds/incubation,
sales/business development/marketing support

7. The proposed strategy generate the two main positive outcomes that will set Bangladesh towards the goal of
sustainable growth:
one is the creation of high paid IT jobs in local market and international market.
second is to generate massive inflow of foreign exchange through Foreign Direct Investment.
Creation of high income jobs that encouraged foreign trained Bangladeshis to return (thereby reversing the
brain-Drain),who can contribute to R&D,and help attract foreign companies to come.

8. The government also accelerate investments in English and IT education starting at primary schools to scale up
this industry.
High speed internet connection, Power,transportation facilities makes easier to people. 5G is internet
connectivity available from mobile operators. Submarine cables, satellites all makes easier to access into
internet facilities.

9. IT company benefits
NO tax till 2024 to any software companies that may be
expandable.
10% cash incentives on foreign earnings .
NO VAT for office rent.

15. The Startup Bangladesh Fund will provide financial support to high-
tech startups and growth companies in the form of equity or
convertible debt (the Investment).
The Investment will provide the necessary capital to accelerate
technological development and achieve commercial success. The
Fund is committed to fostering technical innovation and sustainable
development through a process that is transparent, accountable and
provides equal opportunity for all. It will seek to invest in non-listed
companies with high growth potential that are registered in
Bangladesh. The investees will be early stage tech-based companies
with high growth potential. Exit for investments is expected to be
within 3-5 years of investment.

16. Edge Project
Fresh graduate recruitment is very hard to companies because they can not provide
proper feedback lack of experience.
Edge project is for those fresh graduate to bring into the employment. Basically,
government is funding for those fresh graduate to companies as they can get
experience from real market.

Free training.
Paid training.
Laptop and paid training.
Training with Job placement facilities.
International training.
Professionals training like school teacher,doctor,nurses

18. Training and responsibilities
Government will provide fund to some certain companies to train different
categories student.
Company must provide proper training as per TOR.
After completing , company have to provide 40% local or international marketplace
jobs.
Those training idea helps to start career as freelancer.
Freelancer can get 3% extra money from government if they can earn foreign
currency.

19. Like above so many initiatives has been taken by Bangladesh government by own
and donor agency funded.
I believe all of those successful initiative make Bangladesh into 50 Billion dollar
export by 2041.
I shared this success story, as Nigeria has similar opportunities and both countries
has similar young , talented human resources.Only need nursing….thats all.

20. Bdtask in Nigeria.
We started our journey in 2013. We are working with more than 10 countries in
African region. So, we need a regional office from where we can connect with those
countries easily.
I think Nigeria is best destination for my company. I also think like Bdask, lots of
company will make plan to come Nigeria near future.
