Nomination Chapter President Award
National AIAS board and jury,
For the past year I have had a distinct pleasure to serve on the Board of
Directors, it has been fruitful, difficult and most of all challenged my
growth as an individual. During my time as a director, we get the chance
to meet a multitude of leaders that exude what we want for the mission of
AIAS, they have the ability to put the words that we mull over into action.
One of these people happen to be our incoming West Quadrant Director,
Elizabeth Seidel, not only have I had the joy to know her for over two
years, but also the membership has spoken volumes in how much they
trust her in her leadership. She is capable, loving, headstrong, cares for
others deeper than most and has the ability to verbally confirm those that
seem to think that they can’t be leaders. She speaks to those that feel as if
they don’t have the capacity to lead, and naturally creates leaders of
them, just my simply loving them. She has worked endlessly at her chapter,
working from the ground up in regrowth, fundraised harder than anyone
in the West Quad and implements a healthy culture on her board with a
positive attitude and healthy supportive feedback while being critical of
herself all at the same time.
It is my complete honor, to nominate Elizabeth Seidel for the Chapter
President Honor Award. She is more than a chapter president for those in
her chapter; she is their companion, friend, mentor and motivator- her
entire aura is this organization and it extends beyond the boundaries of
Bozeman, Montana.
Again, I have no greater joy knowing that she can be nominated.
All the best and with care,
Ashley Kopetzky
West Quad Director 2015-16
