We have designed, developed and edited user guides and
online help for proprietary systems, and for Oracle and
Microsoft applications.

What is a template?
A template is a document. It has a name or title, document number, version number and other features.•
All documents should be prepared using approved templates.•
A template defines the naming, numbering, styles, branding and structure of a document. For example, a•
policy template is used when a new policy is prepared.
What are styles and branding?
Styles define the headings, fonts, numbering, bullet lists and other features of a document•
Styles are fixed when a template is prepared.•
Branding is the application of corporate colours, fonts and styles to a template.•
What is a policy?
A policy is a statement of “what you want to happen”. It is a list of principles, rules or intentions, for a defined•
