On April 13, 2018 U.S.-Tajikistan Business Council (USTJBC) hosted a live video conference with participation of Chargé d’Affaires Kevin Covert of U.S. Embassy to Tajikistan, Mr. Yahyo Valiev of Embassy of Tajikistan to the United States, Angela Tierney and Elshan Baloghlanov of WCC International Inc. WCC International highlighted bilateral trade statistics (2017), talked about the export of innovative U.S. goods and services in the energy, climate-controlled storage and transportation solutions, modern agriculture techniques, including aquaponics. Presenters also briefly spoke about how Tajik businesses and young entrepreneurs can get access to global ecommerce platforms like Amazon, E-Bay, and Etsy, especially via merchant account services of WCC International, where businesses can unleash opportunities of selling their products and services to customers both locally and globally.
