Summary
• International investment battle witth startups from all over the world trying to secure an investment up to
€1,000,000
• Competition with three rounds
– Selection round – International partners organize local selection rounds to select the best startups for the
international semi final
– International semi-final– Held in Rotterdam on 1st of November, 10 startups will be selected for the
international final
– International final – 14th of November in Rotterdam, inspiring event with interesting speakers, top
investors, captains of industry, interested students and of course the 10 finalists pitching their business
idea
• The chance to meet tommorrows leading entrepreneurs and seasoned investors
9. Competition schedule
1. International selection rounds
The international selection rounds are organized by the organizing partners of Get in the Ring. During the
selection round all applicants hand in an one-pager to one of the organizing partners. Only the best start-ups get
selected for the international semi-final. Deadline for sending in semi-finalist by organizing partners 14th of
October .
2. International semi-final – 1st of November
During the semi-final the best start-ups from all over the world will pitch in front of an experienced jury. Per
organizing partner the best two selected startups will be attending the international semi—final. The Get in the
Ring committee also gives away 10 wildcards for the semi-finals. If the start-ups can not physically attend the
semi-finals they will do their pitch by video. The jury will carefully select the best start-ups. Only the 10 best start-
ups will be selected for the international final on the 14th of November, which will take place in Rotterdam.
3. International final – 14th of November
During the final the 10 finalist will challenge the champions and try to obtain an investment between €100,000
and €1,000,000. During this prestigious event, with more than 500 visitors. Awards will be given for the best
pitch, a green award for the most sustainable idea and a social media award for the business (idea) with the
most votes worldwide.

• 14 September Deadline for proposing keynote speaker or champion for final of Get in
the Ring
• 25 September Deadline for applications to become organizing partner of Get in the Ring
• 7 October Advised application deadline for selection rounds
• 14 October Subscription deadline for international semi-final
• 30 October Deadline for handing in one-pagers and pitch for semi-finals
• 1 November Dutch selection round & International semi-final
• 13 November Training for finalists
• 14 November International final
