Questions we’re asking ourselves
At a high level:
● What browsing structures benefit people?
● How can we tie-in the browsing and search experience?
At a technical level:
● Are we as efficient as we can be?
● Do we need so many features?
● Can we simplify our stack?*
*Specifically covering the Europeana Collections front-end products
11. What’s next?
● Redesigned homepage and thematic collections
● Automation of elements on these pages such as:
○ Automatic rotation of content on page, related to the topic the user is viewing.
○ Improved hierarchical browsing of entities and mixed curation of content.
■ Topical pages with relevant entities, exhibitions and blogs.
