Business analytics can often be a labour intensive and time consuming process. The business first needs to identify and document their analytics requirements before IT can even start to build any analytical reports. One of two scenarios will then follow. However, the more likely scenario is that the business will receive an outdated report that does not entirely address or consider all report requirements. Another round of this business reporting lottery will soon follow. But what if there was another way? A way that frees IT from the shackles of analytics and one that empowers business users to take ownership and continually make better, faster decisions. Self-service analytics is the answer.
