2. Introduction
F3 HydroPool is a brand of products designed by
F3 Engineering to aid the muscular recovery of
individuals, teams, athletes and contact sports
persons alike.
Our fixed, mobile and portable products are
scientific and hygienic alternatives to widely
used ice baths that are temperature controllable
between 4-16°C (based on guidelines set out by
Australian Institute of sport)

3. Why use an ice bath after exercise ?
An “ice bath” helps recovering in the following way:
• “Ice bath” narrows blood vessels and thus decreases blood flow
• This reduces swelling and tissue breakdown thus relieving pain
• Once out of the “ice bath” the underlying tissues warm up
• This causes a surge of oxygen filled blood to flow back to the muscles
• This helps return by products of cellular breakdown to the lymph system for
efficient recycling by the body
• Main by product is lactic acid which can cause cramp, fatigue and a general
feeling of tiredness in the muscles (delayed onset of muscle soreness (DOMS))
Use of F3 Hydropool products has proven successful in recovery for
gymnasts, athletes and contact sports persons alike.

4. HydroPool Classic
• Manufactured from 316 Marine Grade
which requires minimal cleaning and
lowers running costs
• Designed to fit through a standard
doorway
• Provides chlorinated water to prevent
infection and comply with Environmental
Health regulations
• Large enough for partial submersion for 3
athletes or full submersion for 1 and can
be used by some organisations to
generate revenue
• It has optional features such as lockable
glass screens, protective covers and
personalised logos

5. HydroPool Mobile
• Developed with IFA as international teams
are of “no fixed abode”.
• Mobile is towable to a destination and is
self sufficient needing only an outside
mains water tap, flat ground and electrical
power access for operation
• Recover time allocation is minimised as
unit can take up to 6 players at once (2
compartments)
• Can be used as a permanent fixture where
space is of a premium as it eliminates the
need for planning permission
• Also used for trial purposes

6. HydroPool Pod
• A portable unit that allows ice
bathing whilst away from home or
within a restricted space
• Easily transportable and useable via
lockable wheels and push & pull
handle
• Provides sporting
teams, individuals, organisations or
clubs with budgetary constraints a
cheaper option.
• Its stainless steel casing means it is
durable & requires minimal cleaning.
It can be used as a permanent fixture
whilst having the option of being
taken on the road as well.
