21. Pay Per Click or Pay for Impressions? My personal research shows the same results with PPC and Payment Per 1,000 impressions. I recently conducted a test using the same ad. I paid 75 cents per click with the first ad and 31 cents per thousand impressions for the other. The average cost per click was the same for both ads. I suggest that you experiment with both payment models. At $1 a day, you can’t lose! Have fun!
