In addition to focusing on many related concepts like container or service discovery, technologies like Docker and cloud platforms, my session also discussed ten lessons learned from building cloud-native middleware microservices together with our customers in the last months. The demo brings this from theory to practice by showing how to deploy a single (i.e. built just once) TIBCO BusinessWorks Container Edition microservice to different cloud and container platforms: Docker, Kubernetes and Pivotal CloudFoundry. The video also shows how to leverage other cloud-native open source frameworks such as Consul and Spring Cloud Config for distributed configuration management and service discovery of middleware microservices.

Independent of the source of data, the integration of event streams into an Enterprise Architecture gets more and more important in the world of sensors, social media streams and Internet of Things. Events have to be accepted quickly and reliably, they have to be distributed and analysed, often with many consumers or systems interested in all or part of the events. Dependent on the size and quantity of such events, this can quickly be in the range of Big Data. How can we efficiently collect and transmit these events? How can we make sure that we can always report over historical events? How can these new events be integrated into traditional infrastructure and application landscape? Following this mission and thanks to this collaboration, SpagoBI was enriched with new capabilities that can be exploited in Smart Cities and IoT scenarios, in particular: 1. capability to explore and analyze data coming form CKAN (the well known Open Data portal) 2. NGSI standard adoption (both as producer and consumer of context data) The presentation provides a short introduction to the FIWARE ecosystem, then it will go into more details on complex scenarios where the data visualization (SpagoBI and Knowage) is involved.

FMs have managed to get a lot of attention due to this feature of handling large datasets. It can do text generation, video editing to protein folding and robotics. In case we believe that FMs can help the hospitals and patients in any way, we need to perform some important evaluations, tests to test these assumptions. In this review, we take a walk through Fms and their evaluation regimes assumed clinical value. To clarify on this topic, we reviewed no less than 80 clinical FMs built from the EMR data. Data spaces in distributed environments should be allowed to evolve in agile ways providing data space owners with large flexibility about which data they store. Agility and heterogeneity, however, jeopardize data exchanges because representations may build on varying ontologies and data consumers may not rely on the semantic correctness of their queries in the context of semantically heterogeneous, evolving data spaces. Graph data spaces are one example of a powerful model for representing and querying data whose semantics may change over time. To assert and enforce conditions on individual graph data spaces, shape languages (e.g SHACL) have been developed. We investigate the question of how querying and programming can be guarded by reasoning over SHACL constraints in a distributed setting and we sketch a picture of how a future landscape based on semantically heterogeneous data spaces might look like.
