Fernando Ruiz is an urban historian dedicated to the study of the relations between policy and urban environments. He graduated from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico in 2014, from the master’s program in History at The City College of New York in 2017 and is currently studying a MS in Urban Policy and Leadership at Hunter College in New York City. In 2015, his book La Cruz de Plazas. Transformacion Urbana: Guadalajara 1947-1959, was published as a result of the award granted by the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the most recognized university in Latin America.
