In most of the national strategy of state decision making no place for traditional and local technologies, No place for thousands of years of trial and errors, Unfortunately today most of the Decision makers believe that 100 years of modern technologies can replace the local and traditional one, and resolve the DLDD problems Example: big dams are failure, pesticides and chemicals are failure, GMOs are failure, agro fuels are failure in relation with DLDD and did not resolved and far for the problems, poverty and soil degradation …….
12. UNCCD urgently needs legal mechanisms for integrating and exchanging modern and traditional knowledge between researcher, civil society, indigenous and local people and policy makers. And to enter the UNCCD processes and negotiations By combining and hybridising their knowledge researchers and local communities can interact to produce more relevant and effective policy and practice to combat desertification
