form part of the Alps-Himalayan zone.
High seismic potential
historical seismic data several strong
earthquakes with return periods of about 150 years.

The program consists:
 Assessment of seismic hazard,
 Vulnerability
 Risk for mitigation plan of the new and existing urban
elements.
 Public training program,

9. Goal
The key goal of this program is to identify the roles and
responsibilities of the governmental and private sections
with regard to the disaster management before, during and
after an earthquake occurrence.
