distributing to all farm in Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala, AP . We have big feed mill [

JOB RESPONSIBILITES
 Analysis of feed raw materials and finished products for bacterial and fungal load and
thereby ensuring the quality.
 Monitoring of feed mill hygiene, hatchery hygiene and breeder farm bio-security measures
by microbiological techniques.
 Quality checking of water used in hatcheries, feed mills and breeder farms for bacterial
contamination.
 Evaluating the purity of various disinfectants, antibiotics and vaccines.
 Isolation and identification of poultry pathogenic bacteria and fungus.
 Antibiotic Sensitivity Assays and MIC determination etc.
 Recommendation (based on microbiological analysis) of proper disinfectants and doses to
maintain the hygiene of hatchery, feed mill premises.
 Conducting various field trials on vaccines, antibiotics, and drugs.
 Educating and monitoring personal hygiene with in process premises.
 Food Quality control & inventory control in over all lab , stores.
TECHENICAL SKILL
 Microbiological identification of pathogens by ISO methods.
 Different staining procedures like Gram's stain, Acid fast stain, Modified acid fast stain,
Polychrome Methylene Blue stain, Giemsa stain, Lacto phenol cotton blue stain,
Leishman's stain, Methyl green Pyronin stain etc.
 Antibiotics assay by,
Kirby Bayer method
European Commission Four Plate and Seven Plate methods.
 Different serological techniques like Hem agglutination test, Hem agglutination
inhibition test, Plate agglutination test, AGPT, ELISA etc.
 Checking of microbial load in feed as a part of feed quality assurance.
 Analysis of toxin from finished feed product.
 Analysis of PH
and Hardness ( EDTA method ) as well as Coli form load ( Qualitative by
Teepol method and Quantitative by MPN method) of water.
