Established in 1994, the Gas Forum is a membership association representing the views of gas shippers, suppliers and other wholesale participants active in the UK market. Membership includes both the larger players in the gas market and smaller participants, ensuring truly representative views are communicated to regulatory and government bodies in the UK and Europe. Recognised as the voice of the UK gas industry, it has now become a substantial body, respected and consulted by Westminster, the Department of Energy and Climate Change, Ofgem, the European Commission, and the networks plus others.
