 Provided daily management of the City of Chicago Hospital Preparedness Grant.
 Implementation of programs and oversight of budgets for 25 hospitals with a total budget that exceeds $3.5
million dollars, budget formulation and implementation of grant recipients in the City of Chicago.
 Supervised a staff of two administrators and one and administrative assistant. My office has the overall
responsibility for hospitalemergency preparedness and response in Chicago.
 Coauthored ASPR Pandemic Influenza grant for $800,685 dollars of additional funds. Funding provided
resources for pandemic influenza in disadvantaged communities.

 I was responsible for the recruitment, counseling and selecting prospective students from over one hundred
high schools and community colleges within the state of Illinois.
 Coordinating and conducting on-campus visits,tele-counseling and served as the Golden Apple Foundation
campus liaison as well as representing the university at national events.
 Responsible for identifying, evaluating and cultivating prospective students for Chicago State University.
