Integrated Power Supply and Fan Module (PSFM)
Each JetStor enclosure ships with two integrated
modules consisting of:
JetStor 712S: 400W PSU
JetStor 724S/ 724FD: 400W PSU
JetStor 716S/ 716F/ 716FD: 500W PSU
JetStor 742FD: 1100W PSU
The integrated design ensures the efficiency
of the whole cooling system.
1+1 redundancy insures High Availability. If one
PSFM failed, the subsystem will keep operating normally
instead of shutting down.

16. Multi-Speed Fans
Dynamic Regulation of Fan Rotational Speed
 Reduces Noise During Operation
 Avoids Overheating of the RAID Subsystem
 Lengthens the Lifespan of Fan Modules
The Fan module will dynamically adjust its
rotational speed when the controller senses
any changes of the temperature inside of the
chassis or hard disks drives.

17. MAID2.0 – Massive Array of Idle Disks
MAID (Massive Array of Idle Disks) is, simply
put, a feature implemented in a RAID system to
spin down idle disks to conserve energy.
