It is placed there so the kids
will be more interested in the

which is similar to
how my game will
work. It’s not very
easy to figure out at
first but once you get
the hang of it, then
it’s pretty easy to do.
The font is very fancy
and is perfect and
suitable to the game.
The fonts are full of
curls and fancy which
indicates that they
are aiming for a
feminine audience.

people would want to
play it because it looks
fun and interesting. The

at females aged 12+
because of the colour
scheme with feminine
colours and fancy fonts t

game and the game’s objective. It’s
appealing to their audience because
it has bright colours to signify that

phones because everyone nowadays are on their phone and
is a good market to promote your work. The game has very
good design because they are speaking to their audience
and listening to what they have to say about the game.
The audience appeal – people would buy this game because the
graphics of the game look really high quality which means that you
can see them well and are appealing to the eye. It also seems
interesting because the jewels look very shiny and could appeal more
to the female audience because jewels are a feminine object mainly
along with the fantasy theme.
There is a point system where if you
get the most right tiles matched, you
get points. The objectives and goals
of this game can motivate others so
nobody gets bored while they are
stuck at home.
The theme of this is fantasy because
of the jewels along with the
background which proves the theme
is fantasy. The lighting makes it seem

• What common features do the researched products have?
– They are all tile matching games where you earn points by matching the tiles with the correct
tiles and is also turn based so they have a set amount of turns.
– They each have a point system to help with children learning how to count or to get to a
certain level.
– The colour schemes use bright colours to attract each of their target audiences and help them
understand text etc.
– They added characters to make the game more interactive and fun by unlocking a certain
character if you reach a certain goal.
– They included themes which relate to what the target audience is into and how it appeals to
them such as fantasy, food, animals etc.
– Some have easy levels as some don’t which makes each of the games more interesting
because it gives them more of a challenge or to take it easy.
– Most of the games I have researched are mainly for teenagers (13-17) as some could be
intended for kids aged 4-10.

– I will include the point system, tiles, character image, background etc. I will also include bright
colour schemes to attract my target audience’s attention and persuade them to buy my game.
Along with that, I will include the theme of food and make certain foods unlockable if you
reach a certain amount of points.
