• Short music clip of an upcoming band/artist/DJ which
will follow after a programme which also has the
same target audience e.g. after
Skins/Misfits/Hollyoaks
• There will be a website where the public can vote
which band/artist/DJ is chosen to be on 4Sound.
3. Where the idea came from
We got our idea from 4Thought.tv which is a short opinion show
and is on every single day of the year after the channel 4 news.
We wanted it to be a bit like MySpace but on TV so new
bands/artists/DJs can promote themselves. It’s harder on
websites to be recognised for music so we thought that if we
would make a programme, more people would see it and
increase the artists popularity.

This is what our
clip would look

the end of the
clip, the bands
name and song
name will
appear. The
website and
4Sound logo will
stay there at all
times. It will
show the band
playing one of
their songs on a
stage.
6. Website idea
This will be the
layout of the
website where
the public can
watch and vote
for the bands
and artists they
want to watch.
This is also
where bands
and artists can
upload their
videos.
7. Opportunities
For opportunities in the future, we had the idea that we could expand
the brand and and use the same idea but for film makers. This will
enable film makers to upload a short show reel to the website so the
public can vote which get’s to be shown on TV after programmes. This
would be called 4Vision.
