Dear Ghamdan Al Jadabi,
On behalf of Scott, Jeanah, and the rest of our Washington-based team, I would like to
express my gratitude to you for your efforts as IESC’s Accountant and Administrative
Officer for the Yemen CASH project.
Since you joined us in February 2015, you have brought tremendous energy and high
performance to our project in a very short period of time. In particular, you truly helped us
put in place good systems and reporting where before we had very little support. You also
did a tremendous job in creating a needed rapport with the Land O’Lakes team. One
instance of your dedication and resourcefulness was your help in making sure our team was
paid during a very difficult time in Yemen and when most banks were not accessible.
You also helped the team in many other ways, and I know in particular you helped the
access-to-finance team tremendously in training farmers and assisting them with their loan
applications.
You have done a great job, and it has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with you. I am
only sorry we are not able to keep working together through no fault of your own but due
to the need to suspend Yemen CASH for security reasons. I would most certainly welcome
the chance to work together again in the future should the opportunity arise!
Sincerely,
Chris Linder
