Hail to Blue and White.
We pledge our love and loyalty,

Hail Blue & White
VERSE 1: We’re the mighty Eagles of SAA
Towards lofty heights we’ll never stray.
Soaring high in graceful flight;
Spirit, friendship, Eagle pride.
CHORUS: Hail, Blue and White,
Our knowledge, our might,
This is what we say.
Shout it loud and shout it proud:
“We’re Eagles all the way!”
VERSE 2: Science and Arts is our great name.
Winning always our claim to fame.
Victory is here to stay.
Ask us how, here’s what we say:
(REPEAT CHORUS)
VERSE 3: Reaching far and reaching high,
Reaching up to touch the sky.
For the pride of SAA
Shout you Eagles: “Yea, yea, yea!”
(REPEAT CHORUS)

8. WHERE GIFTED CHILDREN
THRIVE
Science & Arts Academy has a remarkable story to tell; a
story that began with a vision by our founder, Helene Bartz.
Dr. Bartz believed in creating a school that uniquely served the
needs of gifted learners, and from that dream back in 1992,
SAA was born. Rooted in the tenets of academic challenge,
artistic expression and social/emotional learning, Science &
Arts Academy has been a leader in gifted education for the last 25 years.
From parents and alumni to faculty and current students, we are proud to be part
of SAA. This is our school; this is our community; this is our home. On behalf of
our Faculty and Staff and Board of Trustees, I thank you for being part of this
very special occasion.
Special thanks to Director of School Advancement Nina Menis, Admissions and
Alumni Coordinator Diane Angelucci and Homecoming Picnic Co-Chairs Jennifer
Ilko and Amy Wang for their tireless enthusiasm and unwavering dedication to
making this such a celebratory event.
I’d also like to thank Joann Polko and the members of the 25th Anniversary
Committee, our sponsors and partners and everyone who participated in
making this event so meaningful.
May this 25th anniversary serve as a springboard for even greater
opportunities for our students and our school.
In grateful appreciation,
Timothy P. Costello
