AI or artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence
processes by machines, especially computer systems. It is the Science
and Engineering which is making intelligent machines, especially
intelligent computer programs. Artificial Intelligence is related to the
similar task of using computers to understand human intelligence,
but AI does not have to confine itself to methods that are biologically
observable. Ai is characterised as the study of computations that
allow for perception reason, and action. Sophia is Hanson Robotics’
latest and most advanced robot to date and a cultural icon. Sophia is
an evolving genius machine. Her incredible human likeness,
expressiveness, and remarkable story as an awakening robot over
time makes her a fascinating front-page technology story.

Sophia is a first AI social humanoid robot developed by Hong
Kong-based company Hanson Robotics. Sophia was activated on
April 19, 2015

▸Cameras within her eyes combined with computer
algorithms allow Sophia to see.
▸She can follow faces, sustain eye contact, and
recognize individuals.
▸ She is able to process speech and have
conversations using Alphabet’s Google Chrome voice
recognition technology and other tools.

functional legs and the ability to walk.

make our lives easier, but will also make
us more deepened on technology as
machines will be better at things than
we are.
