I am with 6 years experience in the field Electrical testing & commissioning engineer especially in
electrical protection and control systems with a degree from a reputed institution, contributed across
power, oil & gas industries, as having good experience on various product relays of ABB, SIEMENS,
SCHNIEDER and ALSTOM.I have keen interest in challenging assignments across world as Electrical
Engineer(Testing and Commissioning) especially with numerical relays and SAS (Substation automation
system) . I am currently spearheading function as testing commissioning engineer at TAKREER (Abu Dhabi
national oil Refinery Company)
Representing company called DANWAYEME LLC based in DUBAI, UAE for Samsung CBDC project.
My responsibilities in my current projects are:
Testing and commissioning activities, such as high and medium voltage testing (circuit breakers,
transformers, 33 and 6.6kV systems, capacitors, switch gear, MCC’s and motors), insulation and integrity
testing, medium and low voltage switchgear testing, transformer testing, meter & relay testing,Motor run
test and electrical physical check.
- Execute pre-commissioning activities, such as insulation and integrity testing, transformer
energisation, protection systems, interlocking/end-to-end testing, redundant systems, related
communication systems (SCADA) and walk downs. Coordination with system engineers will be required for
specialist pre-commissioning activities.
- Apply project Electrical and general procedures and prepares electrical isolation, switching &
energization documents.
- Applies management of changeprocess tothe pre-commissioning Electricalactivities. This includes
design changes, changes to scoped drawings, produces NCRs/RFIs/FCDs, redlines, and associated rework
and retesting coordination.
- Lead craft supervision for a wide range of Electrical equipment and system testing & pre-
commissioning activities
- Update scoped drawings and databases; whilst coordinating with the Completions Department
Turnover Coordinator. This includes input of any required changes into Teamworks and Set Route.
- Applies Electrical testing documentation and procedures and supports management of change,
updating and tracking (working in conjunction with the specific document owners).
- Identifies Electrical technical issues and raises queries to the Lead Electrical Testing Engineer.
- Work with subcontractors, supplier representatives & other discipline teams to ensure proper
documentation of testing.
- Supports LOTO activities during work preparation, and confirms 100% compliance of craft sign
on/off.
- Coordinates Electrical Spare Parts – ensure that they are available for pre-commissioning use and
in the warehouse.
- Works with pre-commissioning system engineers (in both Redside and Whiteside) for Site
Acceptance Tests, and performance for some systems.
