adjustments.
Project #2 – Offer Attribution.
CISCO’s Offer Attribution Program is a highly cross functional initiative, which
allows selling of certain types of offer structures (a.k.a bundles) with aggregated
prices/revenue. Offer attribution also enables system wide capabilities for ensuring these
aggregated totals, can then be broken down, attributed by revenue attribution engine and
consumed by downstream systems & reporting entities.
Project #3 – BE Hierarchy
To Facilitate Internal and External View of Business Entity (BE), which was a part of
Product Hierarchy, re-modeled to New Hierarchy with Allocation. Analyzing this critical
change impact on the down-streams and implementation.
Project #4 – Integrated Cash and Profitability Management(ICPM).
Integrated Cash and Profitability (ICPM) project is an initiative for Cisco business to
start thinking in terms of profit rather than in terms of singular line items like bookings,
revenue and expense. ICPM will provide P&L metrics to help indicate clearly, how business
decisions related to different line items affect profitability.
Another major purpose is to eliminate manual Reporting and human errors caused
due to manual processes. P&L reporting cube will make Revenue, COGS, etc. data available
in multi-dimension format and in Business friendly language.
There are various Point Of Failures in the existing process which is impacting the
business in terms of predicting and taking appropriate action to optimize performance/make
better/faster decisions.
