My current research interests include teachers' beliefs and their relationship to instruction, embodiment cognition and mathematical thinking, and mathematics/science education standards. I have teaching experience in both public and private sectors. In addition to business software applications such as Microsoft Office suite, I have ample experience with learning software applications such as SharePoint, Blackboard, Examview, and TopClass. I am bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish and English. I also have some familiarity with basic programming in BASIC, Pascal, HTML, SPSS, and Mplus, have strong math skills, and stay current with information technologies.
