Powder Metals components are called as Sintered components. The sintered parts (plunger, rod guide and foot
valve body) are used as critical parts for shock absorber manufacturing. The merits of the sintered parts are
dimensional consistency, material saving and productivity over the machined components.

 Handling the entire production and production planning to meet out the schedule.
 Calculate the capacity requirements by considering Man, Machine and materials with the process
sequences of compacting ( triple acting presses made by DORST Germany), , sintering (1120 degree
closed atmospheric temperature) furnace, sizing press (optional), Steam treatment furnace.
 Planning and monitoring the day-to-day strategies, production schedules with the total product range of 4,
of which a product mixes of 60 varieties.
 Maintaining quality standards, implementing stringent quality control systems to enhance process quality &
reduce the losses.
 Preparing manuals & work instructions for production operations.
 Reviewing and monitoring Line/machine wise loss and taking the corrective action and counter measures.

 Increased the productivity of 20% in compacting and 15% in sizing by effective planning and by machine
modification.
