SUMMARY:
Working as Lead Engineer on the following Piping Engineering Design, Procurement
& Erection activities.
 Proposal works include, defining piping scope/responsibility matrix, piping
technical offer details, development of proposal stage piping layouts, estimation of
piping bulks & estimation of piping man hours considering the tender technical
specifications, project scope, battery limits, qualifications etc.
 Basic engineering & feed packages include preparation of deliverable list, piping
design basis, piping & valve material specifications, supporting process team to
develop P&IDs with line nos. & valve tags, piping calculations, preliminary line list
& valve list etc.
 Detail Engineering activities include, development of piping layout drawings, inter
disciplinary reviews & client approvals, isometric drawings, standard pipe support
drawings, piping bill of quantities(BOQ), line list, valve list, control of engineering
deliverables schedule & man-hours, preparation of supply, fabrication, erection &
testing specification etc. as per ANSI, IS, DIN & BS standards
 Piping stress analysis/flexibility analysis of stress critical lines, pipelines connected
to static/rotary equipment’s using CAE PIPE & CAESAR-II, stress/IBR
isometrics, hanger schedule and Spring/rigid supports detailing using AUTOCAD.
 Procurement activities like, preparation of Enquiry requisitions(ER/RFQ),
Technical adjudications (TA), Purchase requisitions (PR) & Vendor drawing
review/approval for manufacturing etc.
 Co-ordination with vendors, contractors, customer during erection of piping &
supports, inspection, problem solving till unit commissioning & as built drawings.
