2. Wingspan Gives Back, Inc. was
formed in 2013 as the charitable
arm of Wingspan Portfolio Advisors
to support the communities in
which we conduct our business.
By creating our own 501c3, we
were able to increase our legacy
of caring for our communities
while drawing from WPA’s six-year
history of giving back.
Meet Wingspan Portfolio Advisors
Wingspan is an award-winning, diversified mortgage
services company, partnering with banks, investors,
mortgage insurers, and attorneys throughout the U.S.
With multiple offices in Texas, California, Louisiana,
Colorado, and Florida, Wingspan’s team of experienced
professionals provides a wide range of strategic services
to assist the mortgage industry.
Meet Wingspan Gives Back
Staffed by volunteers and led by Chairman of the Board,
Steven Horne, Wingspan Gives Back works to increase
the impact of our organization in the community by
fostering relationships with other community and
business leaders, engaging Wingspan Portfolio Advisors
employees, and performing outreach activities on their
behalf. We are proud to partner with like-minded
organizations to make a greater difference.
Wingspan employees are encouraged to volunteer, get
involved and make a difference in the communities we
call home.
Wingspan has been
named to Inc. 500 list
of fastest-growing
companies for two
years in a row.

3. Signature Benefit Events
Since its inception in 2013, Wingspan Gives Back has
been proud to build on the tradition of giving back that
Wingspan Portfolio Advisors began in 2008. Since day
one, WPA has participated in a variety of community
events, but the 501c3 creation has allowed us to reach
out on a whole new level.

4. Hall of Honor Awards Program
WGB is proud to have partnered with Wingspan Portfolio
Advisors and the Mortgage Bankers Association to
create the Hall of Honor Awards Program to recognize
executives and leaders in the mortgage industry who
support the men and women of our military. The Hall
of Honor Awards program made its debut at the MBA’s
Mid-Winter Housing Finance
Conference in March 2014, in
Colorado. We honored those
who are making a difference
in building a bridge between
the marketplace and the
military, and we will continue
doing so at future conferences.

We Salute JPMC for Supporting Our Heroes
JPMorgan Chase is committed to serving the
unique needs of America’s military, veterans and
their families through employment, housing and
education programs.
• Employment - In 2011, JPMorgan Chase and 10 other companies launched
the 100,000 Jobs Mission. In less than three years, the coalition has hired
117,439 veterans and has grown to 143 companies that represent almost
every industry in the American economy.
• Housing - In 2011, JPMorgan Chase pledged to award 1,000 mortgage-free
homes to military families by 2016. Since then, the bank has provided more
than 680 mortgage-free homes, amounting to more than $102 million, to
military families with its non-profit partners. Chase refurbishes each home
to meet the unique need of the veteran.
• Education - JPMorgan Chase co-founded Syracuse University’s Institute
for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), the first national center in higher
education focused on the social, economic, education and policy issues
impacting veterans and their families post-service.
For Supporting The Heroes Who Proudly Serve Our Country
“The Hornet’s Nest” follows Peabody and Emmy Award-
winning ABC News Journalist Mike Boettcher and his son
Carlos Boettcher, who were armed only with their
cameras when they were embedded with U.S. forces
fighting on the front lines in Afghanistan amid the
constant threat of the Taliban. The film unfolds a true
story of survival for the soldiers, and for the father and
son team who seek to reconnect under the most
harrowing of circumstances.
About The Hornet’s Nest
In a joint statement, “The Hornet’s Nest” Co-Directors/Producers Christian
Tureaud and David Salzberg added, “It is truly an honor to team up with the
and the Hall of Honor Founders for this free screening of ‘The Hornet’s Nest.’
This film gives you a never-before-seen look at the sacrifices, patriotism and
dedication our troops face every day in battle.”
Our community service events in key
cities included a special screening of

5. Ingénue
Ingénue continues to be the true signature Wingspan
event, featuring a weekend of entertainment that
includes a cabaret style show, and a silent auction.
Event proceeds benefit Music Is Medicine, a non-profit
foundation that donates instruments and teaching time
to youths being treated in children’s hospitals, and
Pfamily Arts, a non-profit arts association that broadens
the acceptance and accessibility of the arts in the North
Dallas area. In its third year, Ingénue expanded to
include an invitation-only celebrity golf event hosted
by Roger Staubach. In the past three years,
the Wingspan-sponsored event raised
more than $100,000 for these
two charities.

began as a small charity
concert in a local theatre.
Annika gathered her fellow
performers, invited friends and
families, and raised thousands
of dollars for two of her favorite
local causes. Three years later,
her legacy continues, and
Ingénue has grown!
