What We Do
Chapter Executive Board
The chapter is governed by a group of
elected officers and appointed committee
chairs known as the Chapter Executive Board
(CEB). Led by the President, the CEB’s
primary role is to ensure the chapter offers
programming aligned with the National
Black MBA Association’s® five channels of
engagement: Education, Career, Leadership,
Entrepreneurship and Lifestyle. CEB
meetings are held monthly and open to any
Milwaukee chapter member in good
standing (e.g. dues are current).
Professional Development
We care about our members’ professional
success. Professional development
workshops are offered to help our members
develop their full professional potential.
Maximize your career outlook by taking
advantage of this valuable membership
benefit. Employers regularly turn to the
Milwaukee chapter throughout the year to
recruit and hire new talent and leaders. We
partner with local and nationally known
business leaders and experts to bring you
the latest tools and information members

Networking
Learning takes place in many different

Established in 1970, the National Black MBA Association is dedicated to develop partnerships that result in the creation of intellectual
and economic wealth in the black community. In partnership with over 400 of the country's top business organizations, the association
has inroads into a wide range of industries as well as the public and private sector. Yet all of NBMBAA's partners have one thing in
common: they are all committed to the organization's goals and values.
Vision
The National Black MBA Association will be the premier business organization serving Black professionals
Mission
The National Black MBA Association leads in the creation of educational opportunities and economic growth for African-Americans.
We serve to:
 Provide innovative programs to stimulate their intellectual and economic growth
 Build partnerships with key stakeholders who help facilitate this growth
 Increase awareness and facilitate access to graduate management education programs and career opportunities in management
fields.
Governance – Update/revise the Milwaukee Chapter By-Laws
and Policies and Procedures manual on an as needed basis.
Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) – Design and launch a mentoring
program to inspire high-potential high school toward greater
achievement.
Marketing – Develop marketing and public relation strategies
to support and market our chapter events and initiatives.
Membership – Recruit and retain new, renewing, and transfer
members to the Chapter.
Professional Development – Provide targeted, quality
professional leadership and development programs for our
members.
Social – Plan and execute social/networking events for our
members.
Strategic Partners – Identify, recruit and maintain corporate
partners to support the chapter and the National
Organization.
Technology – Provide a vehicle for communication and
outreach to/for our members, strategic partners and
communities.
