In 1993, I happened to be around a national research lab and get involved with the WWW. It seemed to be the "killer application" for the Internet, and finally place it in the mainstream. Of course, I had no idea that less than two years after that I would be starting up a national ISP with some friends :) In 2004, I happened to come across a brand new thing called "Second Life" and get involved with it. It seemed to be the next paradigm shift in the way business and communication would be done in the 21st century, once it made into the mainstream. of course, I had no idea that two years after that I would be setting up an international metaverse development company with some friends :)
