Agenda for the HFG "Better Health Governance, Better Health Systems - The Evidence", a two-day consultation event to exchange on the latest science and knowledge of how governance contributes to health system performance. This is a key activity in a larger initiative led by USAID and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Through this consultation, we hope to:
- Share and discuss the findings from four technical working groups focused on accountability, public financial management, policy and regulation, and use of knowledge in health systems.
- Discuss implications for health systems interventions and formulate key messages from these efforts to build a momentum for more efficient and effective international, national and local efforts to improve health through stronger health governance.
