It is called Persian or Farsi and it is spoken in
several different countries such as Tajikistan,
Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Azerbaijan
The Persian language is a continuation of Middle
Persian and Old Persian which was used which was
used in the Achaemenid Empire (550–330 BC).
Its grammar is similar to that of many European
languages. Current alphabet is a modified version of
Arabic alphabet.
There are about 12 different dialects & languages in
Iran, including Turkish, Kurdish, Gilaki, Arabs, Azeris,
but the official language of the country is Persian.
