Ise-Mikawa Bay Bioregion SDGs Design Project
RCE Chubu launched a new project called “Ise-Mikawa Bay
Bioregion SDGs Design Project,” aiming for setting our own SDGs
and conducting activities for the achievements of the goals with
multi-stakeholders in the region.
Chubu SD Policy Maker Project (CSSP: The Chubu School of
Sustainability Policy)
To educate young policy makers and the stakeholders to have
knowledge and skills of achieving sustainable development in their
communities.
Ise-Mikawa Bay Wathershed TK-ESD Project
Learning responsible consumption and production, through
Traditional Knowledge (TK), based on biological capacity, natural
capital, and cultural diversity of our bioregion.

SDGs Design Project
Issue/Challenge: Unsustainable situations in Ise-Mikawa Bay Bioregion. Lack of a
holistic view and an integrating framework for achieving SDGs due to the vertically
segmented administrative system, geographically and conceptually.
