Textured Jersey Lanka is a Sri Lankan company that produces knitted fabrics. It began operations in 2001 producing fabric for Marks & Spencer. The company sources yarn from various countries and uses quality control processes like inspections and certifications to ensure high quality products. It produces fabrics like single jersey, ribs, and interlock for brands such as Intimissimi, FILA, and Decathlon. The company focuses on minimizing waste and pollution through various environmental initiatives and strives to give back to the community through humanitarian projects.

The Commercial Operations of the Company began in
Aug 2001 producing fabric for M&S
In 2008, the shareholding changed with Pacific
Textiles and Brandix Lanka taking over the joint
venture partnership
Textured Jersey Lanka to a Public Limited Liability
Company in 2011.
6. MATERIAL REQUIREMENT
Yarn which is the main raw material is sourced from
Indonesia, Thailand, Austria, China and India and
viscose yarn supplier is Pallewela Textiles
For raw materials having Cotton Yarn inventory, Marl
Yarn inventory, Grey Yarn inventory separately
Each of that warehouse is having 12 ½ kg lacks of yarn
A safety stock is maintaining for all the warehouses.

dispensing system. This ensures that color recipes are
met with 100% accuracy
8. Both online inspection and 100% quality inspection
are used to make sure the knitted products are free
from defects. 100% inspection refers to top-to-bottom
inspection of every fabric roll in every batch.
Arel technology is used to control the dye house
operations
Fully automated color dispensing system ensures color
repeatability of fabric produced
Conduct online inspection at the finishing stage, along
with 100% inspection of finished goods to ensure their
promise on quality is guaranteed
