integration layer

Description Only one LSP was handling all shipments in the entire supply chain.
The aim of NXP Semiconductors is to avail itself of the services of
other LSP as well. This will lead to efficiency and synergy benefits.
In order to streamline the pickup process of the LSP, as well as the
traceability of the shipments for NXP Semiconductors a system is
required that will take care of the processes of shipment
consolidation, invoice consolidation and shipment and milestone
tracking and tracing.

• Improve lead time transparency and visibility
• Support the strategic choice to further cooperate with multiple
LSP concurrently

Description V-Cards (Virtual Cards) can be requested in a tool provided by
MasterCard/Citibank. However, this would mean NXP approval
setup has to be copied into that new tool too. To avoid that, the
decision is made that the original V-Card request will be raised in
ARIBA, using normal approval process in ARIBA. After final
approval will be held in ARIBA. From there it will be exported to a
file and sent as input to the MasterCard/Citibank V-Card tool.
Accountabilities  Worked as a technical architect, consultant and developed the
interfaces
 Used Microsoft Outlook REST API to connect to Microsoft Office
365, read emails, attachments and moving emails automatically
 Made use of PostMan - Google Chrome Extension for testing

Description The Foundry and Sub-con Management Project was an initiative to
improve the current processes of how NXP interfaces with external
suppliers. This includes Third Party Foundries (3PF), Sub-
Contractors (Sub-con) and Joint Ventures.
The benefits of this project:
1) Improved efficiency by eliminating redundant order flows and
allowing direct order interface between SAP and external suppliers
2) Increased supply chain transparency
3) Reduction of unnecessary physical transportation flows
4) Centralizing SCM and Purchasing functions and processes for
External Manufacturers
5) Easier report consolidation of external supplier activity

Description NXP Semiconductors uses SAP as ERP for their supply chain
management. These NXP-SAP systems exchange B2B messages
with trading partners/Customers via TIBCO Business Connect as the
B2B gateway.
NXP was using B2BiOD services developed in Synchrony
(Middleware from AXWAY) from 3rd party vendor for mapping and
exchanging EDI messages towards its customers. The main goal of
this project is to migrate all the interfaces existing in Synchrony to
TIBCO utilizing existing infrastructure at NXP. This includes the
development of 600+ interfaces using TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO
R3 (SAP) Adapters, and BC Palettes etc. All the migrated TIBCO BW
interfaces (replacing Synchrony) will communicate with over 100+
trading partners connected to GXS VAN via SSHFTP protocol
through TIBCO Business Connect.
Accountabilities  Technical team member for B2BiOD to TIBCO migration project
 Interacted with customers for working on tasks, discussing the
issues/dependencies and understanding the functionalities.

  • 8. Harish Gaddale Description NXP Semiconductors uses SAP as ERP for their supply chain management. These NXP-SAP systems exchange B2B messages with trading partners/Customers via TIBCO Business Connect as the B2B gateway. NXP was using B2BiOD services developed in Synchrony (Middleware from AXWAY) from 3rd party vendor for mapping and exchanging EDI messages towards its customers. The main goal of this project is to migrate all the interfaces existing in Synchrony to TIBCO utilizing existing infrastructure at NXP. This includes the development of 600+ interfaces using TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO R3 (SAP) Adapters, and BC Palettes etc. All the migrated TIBCO BW interfaces (replacing Synchrony) will communicate with over 100+ trading partners connected to GXS VAN via SSHFTP protocol through TIBCO Business Connect.
