Harman,
This is a long overdue message, but I wanted to thank you for all your support during this tight turnaround program.
Leo Hayes received the initial prototype on time and was ecstatic on TI's support for this project. Because of our support, we will be offered consideration for
future opportunities moving forward.
Currently, Leo is designing 6 fully-functional prototypes for round 2 discussions with Lexus. This work is being contracted out of Tennessee, using the following
block diagram for the prototypes (Light Block Diagram wLogic). Since Leo is good friends with the key decision maker, Leo is very confident that he will win the
business. At this time, there is no action needed from your team.
Once again, because of our quick response and great support, we have secured this socket and gained much confidence with an influential person within Harman
Becker. As a result, we are scheduled to see initial production of this program at the end of this year ramping to volumes of 250K per year. I will pass along more
details when they become finalized.

I was on the phone all day with Harman until 6pm our time (8pm Texas time). Harman was able to reproduce our problem in Rev
B production chips, and came up with a firmware solution to "get around" the silicon bug.
I have tested the firmware fix and verified it to be effective. Thanks for all the support TI gave Savi, especially
Harman's dedication to help us in a critical manner!

Tony: given that TI engineers have been working closely with Savi design engineers to incorporate the MSP430F169 device in
our new product line from way early on, it is disappointing to us that TI would not notify Savi Technology in advance of
this rev change that has caused our boards to fail and our production schedule to derail. Consequently, we are now forced to
push through a firmware change to pick up the pieces, and we need to understand the root cause to do this quickly and
successfully. As it stands now, our engineers have answered all questions posed by Harman, and are awaiting his response.
Please follow up with him to insure this major problem is resolved quickly. We are holding up critical builds of our new
